Phylogenetic analysis of the fungi Beauveria bassiana in biological control of pests, from different geographical regions of the world

One of the most effective methods in the biological control of pests is the use of fungi, which are classified under the name of microbial insecticides. Beauveria bassiana fungi as an insect pathogen with features such as severity of disease, cuticular penetration power, wide host range and at the same time being safe for humans and animals, epidemic ability in the host population, can be used as one of the components of integrated pest management. to be placed In this study, in order to obtain the evolutionary and phylogeny relationships between Beauveria bassiana species from different countries of the world, the desired data were obtained with the FASTA file in the search conducted in the NCBI gene bank. For the correctness of the work method, all the sequences have been measured and aligned using ClustalW algorithm, and the phylogeny tree was drawn with MEGA10 software using the Maximum Likelihood method and Bootstrap analysis with 1000 replications. Metarhizium anisopliae sequence was used to test the health and rooting of the genealogical tree. The phylogeny results of Beauveria bassiana species from different countries of the world show the exact similarities and differences between different species and they were able to distinguish each other well. The observed similarities and differences can be the basis for phylogenetic comparisons of different species of Beauveria bassiana. This classification is very important due to the importance of biological control in pest management and can be used for more detailed studies.
