چکیده مقاله:
The history of life on Earth has been a continuous interaction of organisms with their environment, shaping the physical forms and lifestyles of plants and animals. Controlling pests through environmentally friendly methods is not considered an unattainable approach, as many biological, botanical, and natural pesticides have been successfully commercialized and their applications have expanded. One environmentally friendly unique biological compound is natural mineral biochar, which is extracted from the world's only natural biochar mine located in Kuhbanan County. Natural biochar, having been naturally formed over 650 million years according to geological studies, originated from the remains of the Earth's earliest plants and trees, and has slowly matured. Following extensive research, the genomes and biological factors present in the natural mineral biochar structure have been registered in the NCBI system and are available at https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov. Currently, the certificate of registration of the geographical indication of mineral biochar in Kerman, Iran, has been registered. As an organic input, this material has the approval of the Water and Soil Research Organization and the Environmental Protection Organization for environmental restoration and pollution remediation in Iran. One of the significant achievements of utilizing natural biochar is effective pest and disease management, preventing reckless pesticide spraying, and enabling organic product production. Due to its environmental compatibility, low investment costs, ease of application, and relatively high efficiency, the utilization of this method for pest and disease management is cost-effective and has been well-received. In summary, biochar represents a broad perspective in promoting sustainable agriculture and environmental sustainability.
