چکیده مقاله:
The importance of plant pathogens in agriculture cannot be overstated, and the negative effects of synthetic pesticides, such as environmental pollution and the development of pesticide-resistant pathogens, make it essential to explore alternative methods. Encapsulation of biological control agents using biopolymers has gained increasing attention for the alleviation of plant pathogens in agricultural systems. By encapsulating these agents within biopolymer matrices, their stability, viability, and targeted release can be enhanced, leading to improved efficacy in combating plant pathogens. The use of biopolymers as encapsulation materials offers advantages such as biodegradability, biocompatibility, and environmentally friendly profiles, making it a sustainable alternative to conventional chemical control methods. Furthermore, the potential for controlled and sustained release of biocontrol agents through biopolymer encapsulation holds great promise for long-term disease management in agriculture. This abstract also discusses the current challenges and future prospects of biopolymer-based encapsulation, highlighting the need for continued research and development in this area. Overall, the encapsulation of biological control agents using biopolymers presents a novel and effective approach to alleviate plant pathogens, contributing to the advancement of sustainable and eco-friendly agricultural practices.
